Family vacations are not complete without biking and pizza. So on Thursday we decided to do just that. Left straight from the beach for an exhilarating 1 mile ride to lunch. Watson has been riding his own bike around town, but this time he rode behind Mommy. Apparently the food and swerving of Mom's driving lulled him to sleep on the 7 minute ride home. Unfortunately, I am not quite coordinated enough to hold a bike, bags of groceries and a child, as Watson awoke to the sensation of being strapped in a kid's bike seat as the bike was falling to the ground. Even more unfortunate was that it wasn't only a sensation, it was an actuality. Luckily he still had on his helmet and sustained only a scratch from his sunglasses. Not my most shining parenting moment. But here are the pre-fall pictures. And yes, he did get back on the seat today.
